wheat flour or unbleached flour 

 

  • 2 cups
Unsweetened almond milk [Cake]

 

  • 1/4 cup
Unsweetened almond milk [Frosting]

 

  • 2 tbsp
Apple cider vinegar

 

  • 2/3 cups
Virgin Coconut Oil

 

  • 1 1/4 cups
Unsweetened applesauce

 

  • 1 cup
Cocoa powder [cake]

 

  • 2 tbsp
Vanilla essence  [cake]

 

  • 1 1/3 cups
Organic sugar

 

  • 1 cup
Vegan butter

 

  • 1 tbsp
Baking powder

 

  • 2 tbsp
Baking soda

 

  • 1/4 tbsp
Salt

 

  • 2-3 cups
Powdered sugar

 

  • 2/3 cups
Cocoa powder [frosting]

 

  • 1/4 cups
Daily free chocolate

 

  • 2 tbsp
Vanilla extract [frosting]

 

 

 

  • [Cake]:-

 

 

  • Step 1: Take a bowl and pour almond milk into it. Add apple cider vinegar and allow it to rest for some time.
  • Step 2: Then add coconut oil, apple sauce, vanilla extract and beat the mixture well.
  • Step 3: Now take another bowl and add wheat flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix all the dry ingredients properly and sift the mixture.
  • Step 4: Add the dry mixture into the wet one and blend it well. 
  • Step 5: Apply some non-stick spray to a pan and dust cocoa powder on it. 
  • Step 6: Preheat the oven to 350 F. Pour the batter into the pan and keep it for baking in the oven.
  • Step 7: Bake it for about 30 mins and then allow it cool. 
  • Step 8: Insert the toothpick in the cake and check whether it’s baked properly or not. If not, keep it in the oven for 5-10 mins. Once it gets baked well, start preparing the mixture for frosting.

  • Step 9: Take a bowl and add softened vegan butter, cocoa powder, dairy-free chocolate, vanilla extract, almond milk and powdered sugar in it.
  • Step 10: Blend the mixture until it starts rising and become a little fluffy. 
  • Step 11: Apply the frost neatly on the top and sides of the cake and just keep it for some time.
